At the end of November 2017 I went to the Museum of Ethnography to take shots just before it would close. On my way back I walked through Vértanúk Square, which is located near the building of Hungarian Parliament. In this photo Imre Nagy, Hungary’s prime minister during the 1956 revolution, is standing on a bridge and looking towards the Parliament. The life-size bronze memorial – inaugurated on June 6, 1996, one day before the 100th anniversary of Nagy’s birth – is a work by Hungarian sculptor Tamás Varga. - At the end of 2018 it was removed to another place. A visszafelé úton átmentem a Vértanúk terén, ahol Nagy Imre első hazai egész alakos emlékműve látható, melyet 1996. június 6-án, 100. születésnapja alkalmából avattak fel.
