Hableány kiemelése - Lifting Mermaid boat from Danube - Hungary Culture Photography

This photo was shot from the eastern wing of Buda Castle Palace at the beginning of June 2019. We walked up here from Royal Garden Pavilion on stairs. The crane vessel Clark Ádám is seen at Margaret bridge. It came here to lift Hableány (Mermaid) boat from the bottom of the Danube. At a raining night, on 29 May 2019, Mermaid was travelling upstream on the Danube when the much bigger Viking Sigyn collided with her under the Margaret Bridge. Mermaid sank with 35 people on board, two of them are crew from Hungary while the rest are tourists from South Korea. Seven South Korean tourists were rescued at the scene, all others died. - On the right we can see the building of the Hungarian Parliament, which was designed by Imre Steindl and built between 1885-1904. ⛳ A fotó 2019. június elején készült a Budavári Palota Dunára néző keleti szárnyából. A Várkert Bazártól lépcsőkön sétáltunk fel ide. Akkor még javában folyt a Margit hídnál szerencsétlenül járt Hableány roncsainak felszínre hozása a Clark Ádám úszódaru segítségével. 2019. május 29-én este súlyos vízi baleset történt a Duna budapesti szakaszán, a Margit híd egyik hídnyílásánál. A Hableány rendezvényhajó összeütközött a Viking Sigyn nevű svájci szállodahajóval. A Hableány felborult és elmerült a vízben. A szerencsétlenül járt hajón a baleset időpontjában 35 ember volt, közülük 7 embert emeltek ki élve a vízből.
